CRE’s doctor, Rebecca Young, received her B.S. in Biology and Behavioral Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.  She graduated from Cornell University with her DVM.  After graduation, Dr. Young completed an internship in equine reproduction at Equine Reproduction Concepts in Amissville, VA.  There she learned how to manage stallions, mares and how to perform embryo transfer.  She then practiced in a private mare and foal practice in Bridgewater, CT, before moving to Southwestern VA to open her own practice.  She maintains licensure in VA, and membership in the AAEP.

 

When not working, Dr. Young enjoys riding, hiking and attending sporting events with her family.
